Cristóbal, a partner at Barros & Errázuriz, has more than 20 years of experience dedicated to the energy industry, with a particular focus on the power sector. His practice focuses on the negotiation of power purchase agreements (PPAs), transmission connection and use agreements, and project construction and operation agreements; the acquisition and sale of generation projects, assets and companies—including conventional, renewable and PMGD projects—as well as energy storage and transmission assets, including their corporate structuring and financing; and supply and transmission infrastructure tender processes.

He also advises on regulatory matters and interactions with sector authorities, and represents clients in sanctioning proceedings, administrative and judicial claims, arbitration proceedings, and other disputes among industry participants. He is a board member of ACERA A.G. (Chilean Association of Renewable Energy and Storage).
