Barros & Errázuriz advised Ameris Capital S.A. in the restructuring of the liabilities of its Private Investment Fund LP 15-01 and the integration of the business of Inversiones LP S.A. with Empresas La Polar S.A., AD Retail S.A., and its subsidiaries.

The advisory included the negotiation of the refinancing of loans granted by the fund to La Polar cardholders, with the objective of restructuring the debts through the issuance of securitized bonds backed by the loans of the companies involved.

These bonds were delivered to the creditors in payment of their credits. In addition, the fund was liquidated and the bonds were delivered as payment for the contributions made to the investment fund.
