Felipe Allende joins as a new partner in charge of the mining area

As part of the consolidation of the outstanding natural resources and energy practice area, Barros & Errázuriz has appointed Felipe Allende as a new partner and head of the mining practice, marking an important milestone in the Firm’s strategic plan to become one of the the leading firms in the industry.
Felipe is a lawyer from the Diego Portales University, and has a Master of Laws (LLM) in natural resources and environmental regulation, specializing in mining and energy, from the University of Denver, Colorado. Before joining Barros & Errázuriz, he worked as a senior associate at the Bofill Mir & Álvarez Jana law firm.
With this incorporation, the Firm’s Natural Resources team is made up of 15 lawyers, led by partners Fernando Garrido and Felipe Allende, as well as directors Cristóbal Pellegrini (Energy) and Matías Montoya (Environment).
