Labor Reform in Latin America: Affinitas Lawyer’s opinion in chilean newspaper Diario Financiero

In the context of the labor reforms that are beeing carried out in the different countries of the region, the chilean newspaper “Diario Financiero” published today the article “The vision of lawyers on the plans of labor reform in the Pacific Alliance”, where each Affinitas member firm was represented by a lawyer from its labor area, who contextualized the situation of their respective countries.
Carolina Carrillo, senior associate of the Labor area of our Study, emphasized that in Chile “today’s legislation is outdated, which makes it difficult and in many cases prevents the provision of services according to necessary standards.”
The article counted with the opinion of Claudio Jiménez, partner of the labor area of Mijares, Angoitía, Cortés y Fuentes (Mexico), Mauricio Montealegre, senior associate of the labor area of Gómez-Pinzón (Colombia) and Eric Castro, partner of the Labor area of the legal firm Miranda & Amado(Peru).
