Since its founding in 1988 by Fernando Barros and José Tomás Errázuriz, Barros & Errázuriz Abogados has become one of Chile’s largest law firms, growing without losing what matters most: close client relationships, commitment, excellence and innovation, and a rigorous way of practicing law driven by a genuine vocation to support our clients closely.

In line with these principles, Fernando is stepping down from the partnership to assume this new responsibility. We are confident that he will make a meaningful contribution to the country, with the same dedication and commitment that have shaped our culture and way of working.
