Pro Bono: Collaborative work on Law 21.075, which regulates the collection, reuse and disposal of greywater

In the context of the global water crisis, which is particularly critical in Chile, many mechanisms are being sought to maximize water resources. One of these measures is Law 21.075, which regulates the collection, reuse and disposal of greywater.
In a collaborative work with the Un Alto en el Desierto Foundation and the Pro Bono Foundation, Barros & Errázuriz – through its senior associate Pedro Pablo Ballivian – along with other law firms, worked on observations on this project, and then presented it to the Ministry of Health, in order to generate a regulation that allows implementing the law with a sanitary, but also socio-environmental approach, that facilitates the reuse of water in rural and vulnerable areas.
