Requirement to comply with the quota established in the Labor Inclusion Law and inform the Labor Direction (Law No. 21.015)

Within the month of December, the Inclusion Law must be complied, and in January 2020 all companies must inform the Labor Direction of both the total number of workers hired during the year, and fulfill the quota of 1% -or the alternative measure-, in order to comply with the provisions of Law No. 21.015 (from now on, the “Law”), which established that as of April 1, 2019, companies with 100 or more workers had to begin to comply with the inclusion quota established in the Law, as had happened since April 1, 2018 with companies with 200 or more workers.

Given the previous context, the Labor team of Barros & Errázuriz hands a report addressing the most relevant issues regarding the fulfillment of the law in question.
