Barros and Errázuriz has participated in a significant number of operations related to the insurance business, including advising clients in the constitution of insurance companies in Chile, as well as advising foreign companies in relation to their participation as shareholders of local insurance companies. It has also advised foreign reinsurers on Chilean legal issues before the local regulatory authority.

Additionally, it has provided legal advice to numerous clients in cases related to lawsuits against insurance companies during the claim settlement process or in the corresponding arbitration proceedings.
