Our senior associate, Catalina Villalobos, together with associate Josefina Poblete, both from the Antitrust team, published an interesting research that analyzes the standard presented by the Federal Trade Commission to qualify an agent as a “potential competitor” and also, its differences with the one applied by the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office of Chile.
“Elimination of a potential competitor and organic entry to the market: comparison of the Meta/Within and Uber/Cornershop criteria” was published in the Competition Center of the Adolfo Ibáñez University, a space for information and dialogue on free competition issues with Latin American scope.
