Barros & Errázuriz advised Scotiabank, BNP Paribas and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation in the coordination and issuance of a Green Loan Credit Facility in favor of Global Infrastructure Partners, for the acquisition of the Atlas companies and its renewable energy portfolio and certain intercompany loans.

Our advice consisted of:

• Review of critical information relating to the Chilean aspects of the Due Diligence.
• Review and negotiation of the credit documents from a Chilean law perspective.
• Review and negotiation of the security documents from a Chilean law perspective.
• Assistance in all matters related to the transaction, such as attendance to weekly status meetings, Chilean formalities meetings and general meetings and calls on the project.

This transaction is relevant to the industry due to the materiality of Atlas’ portfolio within the international renewable energy project.
