Last Monday, the Government announced the beginning of the bidding process whose goal is the development of the 5G Network in Chile. This network is characterized, mainly, because of its high capacity to transmit information wirelessly, and it stands out because of its use in the advance applications of information technologies, such as the Internet of Things and wireless internet.

The bidding process, whose initial kickoff was announced by the sectorial authorities from Barcelona, will start with a public consultation which will be available from the beginning of March, which will also bring a noticeable increase in the demand for telecommunications infrastructure in our country.
