Last week, the Legal 500 Chile Awards ceremony was held, an event that recognizes the country’s leading law firms and legal professionals.

In this edition, we were distinguished in several categories, including Banking and Finance Firm of the Year and the recognition awarded to Vicente Cordero as Next Generation Partner of the Year.

We also received individual practice recognitions, with Javier San Martín named Lawyer of the Year in Bankruptcy and Restructuring, and David Cademartori named Lawyer of the Year in Public Law. Additionally, we were recognized in the Next Generation Partner of the Year category with Francisco Bórquez in Competition and Antitrust, Felipe Allende in Energy and Natural Resources: Mining, and Andrés Rodríguez in TMT.

We further received recognition for our participation in the Deal of the Year (Finance) as local counsel to Almar Water Solutions / Transelec in the USD 1.5bn financing of Antofagasta Minerals’ seawater pumping system.
