Undersecretary for the Armed Forces issues a new resolution that determines the calculation model for Maritime Concessions.

On November 7, a new resolution was published in the Official Gazette that establishes an update to the income calculation model for Maritime Concessions, replacing the previous one for 2014.

Among its main novelties is the incorporation of criteria such as the “demand index” and new “applicant types” (based on the size of the companies), eliminating a series of other factors.

Additionally, it establishes a limit for new rents, specifically in renovations. If it exceeds twice the original income, the income resulting from the new calculation will be reduced by half, once for larger concessions and unlimitedly for minor concessions.
