Personal Data Protection: What Every Employer Needs to Know

The recent amendments introduced by Law No. 21,719 to the personal data protection regulations mark a significant change in how companies must manage the information of their employees. The entry into force of this new regulatory framework not only strengthens the principles already in place but also incorporates greater compliance requirements, effective oversight, and a stricter sanctions regime, compelling employers to review and adjust their human resources practices.
