The Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism issued the new Regulation on Notification of Concentration Operation (“New Regulation”), which repeals Supreme Decree No. 33 of 2017 that contains the Regulation in force since the beginning of the mandatory merger control system in our country. The most important advances are related to the simplification of the information requested from individuals, since most of the concentration operations do not present risks for antitrust.
