On Thursday, October 18, at the offices of Transelec, the B&E partner, Javier Díaz, participated as a panelist of the Seminar “Risks in Inefficient Compliance Programs”. The event was organized by Barros & Errázuriz in conjunction with the North American firm Dechert.

The methodology of the meeting was similar to a workshop format, in which attendees, based on a film, analyzed the contents that could be extracted from it together with the support of expert panelists. Among the topics reviewed, best practices were addressed in compliance programs, management of cross-border investigations, parallel management of civil and criminal matters, among others
