Committed to the continuous learning and international development of our lawyers, we have a Secondment program within our Affinitas alliance that aims to exchange experiences and knowledge among professionals in various areas of law in 3 to 6-month periods each year.
For several years now, this initiative has been a valuable professional development opportunity for our talents given that the Secondment program of Affinitas offers young lawyers the opportunity to spend several months working in one of the member firms of the Alliance, obtaining a invaluable experience, not only professionally, but also personally.
The selected lawyers usually have between 5 and 6 years of professional experience, and must demonstrate an outstanding level within their firms, and have an advanced level of the English language.
With regard to the benefits that the program brings, it offers participating partners the opportunity to engage in the professional education programs that each of the firms they join have.
The Secondment Program is an experience that broadens the professional horizon of the associates who participate in it, and it strengthens the bonds between Affinitas member firms.
The program contributes to the strategic objective of Affinitas to offer the lawyers of member firms a unique international environment, ambitious career paths, and is conducive to promoting the Affinitas culture, which is the foundation of our relationships.
Currently, an associate of the Colombian firm, Gómez-Pinzón (a member of the Affinitas Pacific Alliance, together with Mijares, Angoitia, Cortes y Fuentes of México and Miranda & Amado of Peru) is working with us, and soon our associate Jean André Petit will take part in the program working in Colombia.
