In the context of Law 20.920 that establishes the Framework on Waste Management, Extended Producer Responsibility and Promotion of Recycling, on 16 September 2023, the Collection and Recovery Targets associated with the Priority Product “Packaging” will come into force. The latter were set by Supreme Decree N°12/2020 of the Ministry of Environment, for those consumer goods packaged and/or packaged that were introduced by each Priority Product Producer in the national market.
