Barros y Errázuriz advised Softys S.A. in the purchase of all the shares of Grupo P.I. Mabe, S.A. de CV, a Mexican company, held by Eutima BV and Ontex Group NV (both Belgian companies).

Grupo P.I. Mabe, S.A. de CV is a Mexican company engaged in the development, manufacture and distribution of wet wipes, baby diapers, adult incontinence products and feminine hygiene products in Mexico and other countries, mainly in Central America.

Barros y Errázuriz participated in the negotiation of the “Stock Purchase Agreement”, including its ancillary documentation and in the due diligence of a Chilean subsidiary of Grupo P.I. Mabe, S.A. de CV.

The transaction the acquisition of an industrial plant located in the city of Puebla, Mexico which has 26 lines dedicated to the manufacture of baby diapers, adult diapers and feminine care products, which implies the expansion of Softys S.A.’s business.
