Enrique is a partner at Barros & Errázuriz and a member of the firm’s Financing and Infrastructure group. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions —competitive sale processes, control acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations— and on project and infrastructure finance. He also advises on capital markets, corporate and structured financing, asset finance, and restructuring and insolvency.

He regularly advises local banks and borrowers on syndicated and other financing structures, and has acted for sellers, buyers and sponsors, and for domestic and international financial institutions and investment funds, on transactions governed by Chilean and New York law, frequently as local counsel to U.S. and European firms. His experience spans energy and renewables, electricity transmission, public and port infrastructure, desalination, telecommunications, healthcare, retail and real estate, as well as asset finance, including aircraft. He sits on the boards of a number of Chilean companies and family offices.

From 2025 until mid-2026 he practised out of the firm’s New York office. He holds an LL.M. from UCLA and was a foreign associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP —now A&O Shearman— in New York. He lectures on Commercial Law IV at Universidad del Desarrollo Law School.
