Barros & Errázuriz advised Independencia Administradora General de Fondos S.A. in the capital increase of Bodenor Flexcenter S.A., a warehousing company, pursuant to which Fondo de Inversión Independencia Rentas Inmobiliarias increased its participation from 40% to 70% of the equity, thus obtaining the control of the Company. The transaction was executed by means of the subscription and payment of 40,000 new shares of the Company.

The operation involved the negotiation with the rest of Bodenor’s shareholders of a new shareholders agreement, and was financed in part, by obtaining a 5-year bullet loan from Banco de Chile for the amount of UF 3.500.000.

In addition, the diversification of the Fund has been further improved by increasing its investment in one type of asset, which will strengthen the Fund’s investment portfolio.
