Barros & Errázuriz advised Colbún S.A. in the due diligence and sale process of two wind farms owned by Inversiones Latin America Power SpA, named “San Juan” and “Totoral,” which have installed capacities of 193 MW and 46 MW, respectively. This sale successfully completes the financial restructuring of Latin America Power.

The transaction includes a purchase agreement for 100% of the shares of Inversiones Latin America Power SpA, which in turn owns the companies San Juan S.A. (San Juan Wind Farm) and Norvind S.A. (Totoral Wind Farm) by Colbún S.A. It is worth noting that Inversiones Latin America Power SpA was undergoing restructuring under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code, so this sale successfully completes its financial restructuring.
