On July 27, 2026, the Chilean Financial Market Commission (“CMF”) issued General Rule No. 571 (NCG No. 571), establishing the Regulatory Compendium for Exchanges and Intermediaries, a new regulatory framework that consolidates and systematizes the principal rules applicable to stock and commodity exchanges, as well as their intermediaries. While the new regulation largely preserves the existing framework, it introduces significant enhancements in areas such as corporate governance, risk management, capital requirements, standards of conduct, and market operations.
