Volta SpA, a company belonging to the Southern Cross Group and dedicated to sustainable waste management, obtained two green credit lines from Scotiabank, in order to allocate these resources to the development of green projects.

These resources will be used to accelerate circular economy investments for industrial and household waste in the central and southern part of the country. This will allow Volta to continue the work it is currently developing around processes and technologies that transform waste into new resources, such as biogas, energy sources, water for irrigation and improved soil substrates.

In this way, it contributes to combating climate change and reducing the carbon footprint. Barros y Errázuriz advised on the preparation of green credit contracts, the negotiation of their main clauses and the creation of guarantees associated with the loan.
