On July 3, 2024, the General Directorate of Water published in the Official Gazette Resolution DGA Exenta No. 1822, dated June 26, 2024, which approves the new text called “Manual of Standards and Procedures for the Management and Administration of Water Resources” (the “DGA Manual”). It is especially noteworthy that the DGA Manual regulates in a single systematized and unified text, the procedures and requirements of the administrative acts that are processed before the DGA, solving the dispersion that existed with respect to the 2008 Manual of Standards and Procedures for the Administration of Water Resources, which had been modified by 8 resolutions of the DGA between 2008 and 2024.
