On June 22, 2026, Law No. 21,830 (the “Law”) was published in the Official Gazette. The Law increases the amount of the Monthly Minimum Income (“MMI”), as well as the family allowance, maternal allowance, and family subsidy.
A key feature of the Law is that it applies retroactively as from salaries corresponding to May 2026, requiring employers to make the necessary salary adjustments and payroll recalculations.
