As of June 1, 2025, Circular No. 62, published on March 19 by the Financial Analysis Unit, in the exercise of its regulatory authority, began to be in force, issuing general instructions to the entities required by Law No. 19,913, which created the FAU. The Circular systematized the current regulations in a single text and establishes new obligations for the regulated entities under Article 3 of the Law; it also reinforced the risk-based approach for the prevention of money laundering, the financing of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
