Barros & Errázuriz, together with the Chilean-British Chamber, on Tuesday, July 10, organized a talk for their clients and partners about ‘How European legislation of data protection (GDPR) affects Chile’ in reference to the new rule that entered into force in our country on June 16, 2018, where Law 21,096 was published in the Official Journal that modifies our Political Constitution, consecrating the RESPECT AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA of all persons at the constitutional guarantee level, the treatment and protection of said data having to be carried out in the manner and conditions determined by law.

This regulation confirms the real importance that these matters have taken on in our country and in the world, for which our senior associate and expert in the matter, Carolina Cabrera, member of the area of ​​Protection and Personal Data, spoke about the implications of this.
