Tomás Kovacevic is a partner of the Tax group at Barros & Errázuriz.

He is a specialist in tax matters and has participated in diverse tax structuring transactions for various businesses and industries, for local and international companies, including local and international taxation matters, application of international conventions, reorganizations, preparation of tax legal opinions, capital market taxation matters and investment funds, among others.

During 2018 and 2020, he was in charge of coordinating the technical teams for the design and drafting of the 2020 Tax Reform (Law No. 21,210), as Tax Policy Advisor of the Ministry of Finance, along with speaking at different seminars in Chile and abroad on behalf of such position.
