The international media Latin Lawyer, reported a new milestone for the national public transport, it is the advice provided by our firm to Grupo Kaufmann, Andres Motors and InfraBridge, which began 4 years ago with the preparation of bids in the public bidding process for the supply of buses to the Metropolitan Public Transport System convened by the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications, the negotiation of the various contracts with suppliers of electric buses and batteries, and with the Metropolitan Public Transport System Operators.

Last November 17th, the negotiations were finalized by virtue of which Suministradora de Buses K Cuatro, a subsidiary of Kaufmann Chile and InfraBridge obtained a financing granted by the International Finance Corporation, Inter-American Development Bank and Banco Estado, to finance the acquisition of the largest fleet of electric buses in Latin America (992 buses), for the Metropolitan Public Transport System.

Our firm had the honour of advising Suministradora de Buses K Cuatro and the project sponsors, Kaufmann Chile and InfraBridge during the entire process of negotiation and closing of this financing, which was motivated by the sustainability of this innovative operation, with the aim of promoting the process of global decarbonisation and reducing the impact against climate change.
