Barros & Errázuriz was recognized as the only Chilean law firm to receive two “Deal of the Year” awards at the 2025 Latin Lawyer Awards, winning in the categories of Private Equity and Project Finance: Energy and Natural Resources.

Last week, Managing Partner Cristián Barros Tocornal represented the firm at the ceremony held in Brazil, where he accepted both awards for the firm’s advisory role—alongside other regional firms—in the merger between Vinci Partners and Compass Group, and in the financing for the acquisition and development of the seawater pumping system for Minera Centinela.
