On 16 May 2024, the National Mining Company (ENAMI) presented the guidelines for a bidding process related to (i) the exploration and exploitation of the “Salares Altoandinos” lithium project through a public-private partnership and (ii) the financing of such project.

The aforementioned bidding process was launched as part of the “National Lithium Strategy”, which aims to promote the development of the lithium industry in Chile through mechanisms such as public-private partnerships.
