On March 11, 2025, the Financial Market Commission (CMF) published General Rule No. 533 (NCG 533), which establishes the circumstances that qualify as relevant links of nature or volume of a person in relation to compliance with the requirements to be appointed as independent director of Article 50 Bis of the Corporations Law; and the minimum mentions to be contained in the policy for the election of directors in subsidiaries of companies that are supervised by the CMF, as provided in Article 92 Bis of the same law.
