On May 14, 2019, the President of the Republic sent to the Senate a Bill on labor modernization for conciliation of work, family and inclusion, which introduces amendments to the Labor Code, and other legal bodies.

The Bill is structured in three main axes:

(I) Day adaptability measures;
(II) Protection of employment, worker training and new forms of contracting; and,
(III) Inclusion measures for the promotion of person respect and dignity.

Based on the foregoing, the Labor team of Barros & Errázuriz drafted a report detailing the main changes proposed in the Bill.
