In this regard, our director, Matías Montoya, pointed out that there is a “special sensitivity” on the part of the firms with the new environmental crimes.

“The standard imposes an important challenge for the operation of any company, especially those related to complex industrial or productive processes. This, especially considering that this standard implies having strict and detailed schemes of regulatory compliance and determination of responsibilities in case of incidence in any of the environmental crimes, which will require work in several industries to adapt internal procedures to the new standards required by law,” he explained.
