Our partner Nicolás Balmaceda has been appointed as the future Undersecretary of Public Works, a role in which he will put his experience at the service of the country.

Nicolás joined B&E more than 30 years ago, while he was a law student at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, starting as a legal assistant. Over time, he consolidated his practice in infrastructure projects, banking and finance, and mergers and acquisitions, advising construction and engineering companies, project developers, banks and financial institutions, public works concessionaires, and public-sector bodies, both in Chile and abroad. This trajectory led to his appointment as a partner of the firm in 2006.
