Within the framework of Law 20. 920, which “establishes the Framework on Waste Management, Extended Producer Responsibility and Promotion of Recycling” (“REP Law”), on November 11, 2024, Supreme Decree No. 47/2023 of the Ministry of the Environment was published in the Official Gazette, which “Establishes Collection and Valorization Goals and Other Associated Obligations for Lubricating Oils” (“DS N°47”), in relation to the Priority Product (“PP”) “Lubricating Oils” that each Priority Product Producer introduces in the national market.
