Latin Lawyer debt capital markets league table: January to June

The publication estimated that around 107 Latin American and international law firms helped companies in the region raise nearly 90 billion dollars through 366 debt capital markets deals (64% of them in Brazil).
Among the others transactions that were carried out in the Spanish-speaking countries of the region, Barros & Errázuriz stood out as the Chile leader with 13 transactions, positioning itself as the one with the highest deal volume of any local law firm outside Argentina, Brazil and Mexico.
Latin Lawyer also highlightet that Chile became the first country in the region to issue green bonds in a transaction worth US$2.4 billion.
We would like to gratulate our Affinitas alliance law firm members; Miranda & Amado, who lead in Peru with 11 transactions and the highest total deal value; Mijares, Angoitia Cortés y Fuentes SC, who is among the four firms that generated the most income in Mexico and to Gómez-Pinzón, which ranks second in the Colombian list in relation to the total income from deals.
