On August 3, 2023, the Regulation on Economic Solvency Analysis and Consumer Information was published in the Official Gazette, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 19,496 on Consumer Rights Protection. Thus, by issuing the Regulation, the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism, in compliance with Law No. 21.398 which establishes measures to encourage the protection of consumer rights and Article 17 N LPDC, has established the rules regarding the form, requirements and conditions of the obligation of suppliers to analyze the economic solvency of consumers prior to the conclusion of a money credit operation, in other regulations.
