Barros & Errazuriz advised China CITIC Bank Corporation Limited in the financing for the acquisition by Tianqi Lithium Corporation of 62,556,568 Class A shares of Sociedad Química y Minera de Chile S.A. (SQM), owned by Nutrien, which represent approximately 23% of the capital of SQM. The acquisition was made through a public offering of shares in the Santiago Exchange Market.
