The National Consumer Service (SERNAC) approved in July, by means of Exempt Resolution No. 495, an Interpretative Circular on the application of Law No. 19.496 on Consumer Rights Protection to commercial real estate relations and particularly to preparatory contracts in the real estate market, such as real estate reservations and contracts of promise of sale.
